The Legal 500 United States 2018 Recognizes Foley’s Sports Industry Team, Three Partners

Foley’s Sports Industry Team and three of its partners have been recognized by The Legal 500 United States 2018, a global ranking of law firms based on feedback from 300,000 corporate counsel worldwide.
Foley’s Sports Industry Team is one of only 19 law firms nationally recognized for its sports practice. Partners Kevin Schulz, Jon Israel, and Mary K. Braza were also singled out for individual recognition.
Schulz was recognized for having acted for a significant investor on the purchase of the Miami Marlins and for having advised Hi-Rez Studios on a video streaming deal with Microsoft’s Mixer for Paladins Console Series. Israel was credited with handling various matters for the New York Jets and for advising Major League Rugby – a new U.S. professional rugby league – on league formation, governance, and operational matters. Braza was described as a disputes specialist and a key figure.
