Associate Thomas Ferrante was quoted in the Health Data Management article, “Most States Have Laws Supporting Telehealth Reimbursement,” about the growing national acceptance of telemedicine.
Although acceptance is increasing, challenges still remain, including varying state laws regulating the industry. Oklahoma recently enacted new telemedicine practice standards that allow physicians to create doctor-patient relationships without first having an in-person exam, Ferrante said.
