Foley’s 2014 Telemedicine survey was featured in a U.S. News & World Report article, “Doctoring From a Distance,” on September 9, 2015, which was part of their annual Best Hospitals issue. The article discussed the increasing popularity of telemedicine and the technological advances that make it possible. Foley’s survey provided insight into a common challenge, reimbursement, “A 2014 survey of 57 hospital and health care executives conducted by the law firm Foley & Lardner found that while 90 percent had started adding services, about 40 percent were not always getting paid by insurers or were collecting considerably less than for in-person care.”
