Partner Mary K. Braza was quoted in a Sports Business Journal article published on June 23, 2014, titled “College Sports’ Legal Battleground.” The article examines four legal fronts currently facing the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), where numerous challenges could change the future of college sports. Those four areas include antitrust law, labor law, right-of-publicity law, and legal issues pertaining to concussions and other injuries impacting student athletes. Braza said she views the concussion litigation as different than the other legal issues facing the NCAA.
