Los Angeles Times
Partner Irwin Raij was quoted in a Los Angeles Times article published on April 28, 2014, titled “Sponsors Abandon Clippers, Setting Stage for NBA Action.” The article analyzed potential actions by the National Basketball Association as sponsors began cutting ties with the Los Angeles Clippers amid allegations of racist comments attributed to Clippers Owner Donald Sterling. Raij said, “The NBA is a very powerful brand. These statements clearly are prejudicial and can negatively impact the business of the NBA. As a result, I think the commissioner has a very strong argument to say the statements are detrimental to the league.”
