Partner Irwin Raij was quoted in an Associated Press article published on April 30, 2014, titled “Fallout Continues in Clippers Controversy as Stage is Set for NBA Action.” The article speculated potential disciplinary actions by the National Basketball Association (NBA) amid allegations of racist comments by Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling. Raij said, “The NBA is a very powerful brand. These statements clearly are prejudicial and can negatively impact the business of the NBA. As a result, I think the commissioner has a very strong argument to say the statements are detrimental to the league.”
