Texas Lawyer reported on Gardere's expansion of its management committee and the addition of a chair and a vice chair to the management team. Holland N. O'Neil, a partner in the Firm's Bankruptcy and Business Reorganization Practice Group in Dallas, has been named chair, and Eric A. Blumrosen, a partner in the Firm's Corporate Practice Group in Houston, has been named vice chair. The Firm's Managing Partner Steve Good will remain in a key leadership role by serving as chief executive officer.
"What we've found is law firms are more horizontal," Mr. Good said. "We tried to come up with a structure that gets more people involved."
