The Dallas Weekly covered Chinelo King's win at the 21st Annual Gardere MLK Jr. Oratory Competition. The assignment for the competition was to answer the question, "If you could talk directly to Dr. King about your dreams for the future, what would you tell him?"
Using quotes from Dr. King's speeches, the John Neely Bryan Elementary School fourth-grade student challenged audience members to use their "tool belts" to work together to build a better world.
