Partner Roger Strode was quoted in the December 2012 issue of Chicago Lawyer. The article discussed the emerging renaissance period for hospital mergers in and around Chicago within the past two years, stating that the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act has helped to promote these mergers by creating more competition among hospitals through incentives to cut costs and increase quality. He added that a growing patient preference for more private rooms, as well as deterioration throughout existing hospitals, has also helped to fuel a hospital-building boom in Chicago and the suburbs.
