Geilfuss Quoted on ACOs

Foley Partner Frederick Geilfuss was quoted in an article published in American Medical News on December 5, 2011. In the article titled “Physicians uncertain about taking part in ACOs,” Geilfuss comments on the potential lack of clarity about accountable care organizations (ACOs) following the release of final rules governing Medicare ACOs. He says that Medicare beneficiaries will most likely seek out their doctors rather than become part of an ACO, adding that ACOs represent a coming trend that physicians should be thinking about.
