Ralston Quoted on American Recovery and Reinvestment Act
June 25, 2009
The Daily Reporter
Foley Partner David Ralston was quoted in an article titled “Buy America puzzles construction industry” in the June 25, 2009 issue of The Daily Reporter. Ralston discusses the rules of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act requiring builders to use construction materials made in the United States. He adds that because contractors are asking construction suppliers to distinguish between materials that meet Buy America requirements and materials that do not, it is not always easy to figure out how the rules will be applied to different items.
