Brandon Christensen represents clients in a broad range of commercial disputes in state and federal courts and arbitration. He has defended and prosecuted complex cases regarding breaches of contract, false advertising, unfair competition, intellectual property, fraud, and other business-related issues. Brandon is experienced in litigating business divorces, including corporate governance and business valuation disputes. Brandon is also experienced in litigating employment disputes involving trade secrets, confidential information, and covenants not to compete.

Brandon excels at distilling complicated facts and laws into simple and direct advice. He enjoys collaborating with clients across all industries, but especially in the health care industry, to creatively solve problems and advance each client’s strategic goals.

Business Divorce/ Corporate Control

  • Represented medical marijuana company in a multi-million-dollar business divorce in Utah state court and AAA arbitration. After a 17-day trial, obtained victory on claims for breach of fiduciary duty and dismissal of all counterclaims in AAA arbitration, resulting in full ownership of the business and a significant damages award.
  • Represented nutraceutical company in a business divorce with crossclaims for breach of contract, fraud, and other business torts. Obtained a favorable settlement that resulted in ownership of the business and essential intellectual property.
  • Represented packaging company in a dispute over board composition and company control. Obtained a favorable settlement reinstating our client to the company board.

Unfair Competition

  • Represented ecommerce company in a federal trade secret, confidential information, and non-competition lawsuit against a competitor.
  • Represented ecommerce company in a federal false advertising and unfair business practices suit against a competitor.
