Partner Eley Thompson presented during the Intellectual Property Owner’s Association’s (IPO) webinar, IP Chat Channel, titled “Parallel Proceedings in District Court and the PTAB After NHK Spring” on Thursday, July 2, 2020.
During this webinar panelists discussed the significant PTAB decisions about Section 314 that have changed the complex interaction between post-grand proceedings at the PTAB and the associated district court actions. They also looked at the rise of the Western District of Texas as a litigation hotspot, as the district is now on track to lead in new patent filings in 2020.
