Daugherty Quoted on Compliance Management

Foley Partner Patrick Daugherty was quoted in an article titled “Compliance Management Questions Linger” in the May 1, 2010 issue of InsideCounsel. Daugherty discusses the increased focus on compliance following the advent of Sarbanes-Oxley, stating that compliance works best when a defined officer is in charge. He adds that in addition to training, developing an ongoing system dedicated to monitoring and correcting small problems before they become large problems is necessary for effective compliance management.
