Foley & Lardner partners James De Vellis and Nathaniel Lacktman were presenters on U.S.-to-Canada telehealth opportunities at "Unpack! Connecting Canadian Telehealth and Healthcare Robotics Companies” in Boston on March 17-18, 2015. The event, hosted by the Consulate General of Canada in Boston and the Canadian Technology Accelerator at Boston, connected Canadian telehealth, telemedicine, healthcare, and robotics companies with healthcare organizations, strategic advisors, and investors.

Mr. Lacktman’s presentation was on international telehealth opportunities between the U.S. and Canada, particularly strategic alignment and viable business models. Mr. De Vellis spoke on patent and funding matters and participated as an expert panelist in a “shark tank” pitch assessment of the participating companies. The event also included a variety of panels and mentoring activities to connect Canadian startup companies with New England based mentors.
