The program discussed how to determine whether a browse-wrap or a click-wrap agreement is appropriate for business websites, and identified conditions of use for such website materials.

The topics included:

  • The differences between browse- and click-wrap agreements
  • What to consider when drafting the substance of browse- and click-wrap agreements
  • The requirements of COPPA (the Child Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998) as they pertain to such agreements, as well as some other state-enacted laws, and how to comply with them
