Gardere Tax Partner Fernando Camarena Cardona will participate in a panel discussion titled, "Recent Trends in the Negotiation and Application of Tax Treaties in Latin America" at the 8th Annual U.S.-Latin America Tax Planning Strategies Conference. The panel will address current trends in Latin American tax treaty negotiations, and will consider their rules and implications on foreign investment and tax planning. Application and interpretation of these treaties will also be discussed.
