Foley Senior Counsel, Torrey K. Young, will be a speaker at the a AHCA/NCAL Independent Owner (IO) Leadership Conference on March 14-16, 2018. Her presentation is titled “The Evolution of the Accountable Care Organizations (ACO) Model: Examining Trends and Opportunities for Successful Partnerships.”
As ACOs continue to grow in number and popularity across the country and as ACO options expand, so do the opportunities and implications for providers looking to partner. This session will cover the evolution of provider risk-sharing models, with emphasis on the Medicaid ACO and the Next Generation ACO model. In addition, Ms. Young will discuss national trends and the impact ACOs are having on the management and utilization of post-acute care services.
