Foley Of Counsel Emily Wein, a member of the firm’s Health Care and Telemedicine and Digital Health Industry Teams, will be a presenter at this year’s Journal of Health and Biomedical Law’s Telehealth Symposium at Suffolk University Law School. Ms. Wein will participate in the panel, “Legal Perspective in Implementation,” and she will be joined by fellow speakers Meghan Cosgrove (Partner at Barrett & Singal, P.C.) and Michael Caljouw (Vice President of Government and Regulatory Affairs at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts), as well as moderator Jeremy Sherer (Attorney at Hooper, Lundy, & Bookman, P.C.).

The Journal of Health & Biomedical Law at Suffolk University Law School prides itself on providing current, relevant, and insightful contributions to the field of health and biomedical law. The Journal’s Annual Health and Biomedical Law Symposium, open to the legal, medical, and law school community, is their signature event focusing on a timely topic of interest. This year’s symposium will focus on the legal and policy issues the growing field of telehealth faces. The event will explore areas such as public program vs. private insurer reimbursement, expansion and telehealth parity laws, telepsychiatry, and much more.
