Partners Jana Kolairk and Nick Welle will be moderating and speaking on two different panels at the conference on Tuesday, November 8. This year’s conference, will feature a high-level roster of dynamic speakers who will be coming together to brainstorm and discuss ways to achieve greater value, affordability, transparency, and accessibility in health care.
Jana Kolarik’s panel is titled “The Federal No Surprises Act and Other Federal Updates: What Is Happening, What Is The Experience”. Speakers in this session will provide an overview of the long-standing issue the No Surprises Act was enacted by Congress to solve; the Federal regulations promulgated to operationalize the program; and the litigation landscape involving (in particular) the factors to be used by arbitrators in addressing payment disputes between health insurance plans and providers.
Nick Welle’s panel is titled “Ahead of the Curve: Navigating the No Surprises Act”. This panel will focus on how the No Surprises Act dramatically changed the health plan regulatory landscape. Join this panel for a discussion about pain points and lessons learned, including how health plans can use data and technology to make compliance easier, reduce disruption, and enhance the patient experience.
