On Friday, February 11, fourth- and fifth-grade students from Chicago Public Schools will vie for the winning title during the final round of Foley & Lardner LLP’s 3rd Annual MLK Jr. Oratory Competition. Hosted during Black History Month, the MLK Jr. Oratory Competition celebrates the history and contributions of Black Americans, such as Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Presented, hosted and sponsored by Foley, the event invites local students to virtually present original three-to-five-minute speeches addressing the topic: “How would Dr. King assess our progress in achieving his vision for America?”
