Foley Partner Louis Lehot was quoted in a New York Times article, “Biden Takes Step Toward Regulating Cryptocurrencies.” The article discusses the President’s executive order that would coordinate efforts on cryptocurrency regulation.
Lehot commented, “We need clear answers on how to do things. We’re operating in a gray zone and in a sandbox. And time and again, someone comes into the sandbox and arrests somebody, and that’s not the best way to grow an important part of the economy.”
The article was also published in the Boston Globe and Lehot’s quotes were used in the New York Times DealBook Newsletter.
