HSU untied
Foley & Lardner LLP partner Shaalu Mehra joined the HSU untied podcast to discuss his academic background, journey into law, and career path as a technology transactions attorney.
Mehra, who studied Physics as an undergraduate and Computer Science in graduate school, described his lifelong interest in understanding things “axiomatically” – from their first principles.
“I knew I wanted to be in technology,” Mehra said of his time in law school, describing the rise of technology transactions in tandem with the emergence of Silicon Valley. Emphasizing how his technology background eased entry into his practice, Mehra noted how it both enhanced his understanding of the issues his clients face and allowed him to speak their language.
