Christopher L. Griffin

Partner/Retired

Christopher L. Griffin is a retired partner and business litigation lawyer with Foley & Lardner LLP. He conducted a broad practice in commercial litigation, focusing on trade secrets, non-compete agreements, interference with business relations, and other business torts; libel, slander and defamation; and real estate litigation. Christopher was a member of the firm’s Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution and Appellate Practices. He also was a member of the Sports Industry Team.

Christopher has litigated and tried complex commercial matters in all three of Florida’s United States District Courts, and in Florida Circuit Courts throughout the state. He has argued appeals in the Florida Supreme Court, the U.S. Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and several of Florida’s District Courts of Appeal.

Mr. Griffin has been Peer Review Rated as AV® Preeminent™, the highest performance rating in Martindale-Hubbell’s peer review rating system. He was selected by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America© since 2015 in the field of commercial litigation.
