This session will address enforcement efforts which are ramping up at the federal level through the Medicaid Integrity Program and simultaneously continuing at California’s Department of Health Care Services. Providers and suppliers must be prepared for data mining scrutiny of both their quality of care and the integrity of their claims; increased audits; and enforcement tools which range from scrutiny during provider enrollment to payment suspensions and provider number deactivation.
