A Win For the Away Team

Foley Partners Michael Conway and Lloyd Dickinson and Associate Rebecca Hanson authored an article titled “A win for the away team” in the August 20, 2009 issue of The Deal. The authors discuss the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals’ decision to affirm a lower court’s dismissal of an Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) pension withdrawal liability claim in the case of Graphic Communications International Union (GCIU) Employer Retirement Fund v. The Goldfarb Corporation. Foley represented Goldfarb in the case discussed.
