Foley & Lardner LLP partner Matt Caplan is highlighted across press for his recent arrival to the firm’s San Francisco office.
Featured in the Law360 article, “Foley & Lardner Brings On Cooley Litigator In San Francisco,” Caplan said his interest in Foley stemmed from the firm’s synergies with his practice, “especially with Foley’s strength in the innovative technology and health care and life sciences sectors.”
Caplan continued that these shared focuses, coupled with already knowing several people at the firm from previous work, “presented a pretty unique opportunity for me.”
Caplan said he plans to “layer my practice on top of the existing national platform at Foley and be able to essentially expand and grow both.”
“Being in Foley in San Francisco, it’s an exciting time with growth here, adding partners and attorneys and being able to grow the practice here to be a more formidable presence in the Bay area,” he continued. “I think it’s an exciting time with the resources that Foley is investing in the office and in the practice here and showing a commitment to their practice in the Bay Area and just having the energy of the firm behind you is really invigorating.”
Coverage of Caplan’s arrival also appeared in Attorney at Law Magazine, Bloomberg Law here and here, Daily Journal, Global Legal Chronicle, and Westlaw Today.
