Foley Partner Nathaniel Lacktman, Chair of the firm’s Telemedicine & Digital Health Industry Team, gave a presentation during The Washington Campus “Managing Health Care Policy” Seminar Series on August 17, 2020. His presentation was titled, “Telehealth: Case Study of Business and Health Care, Technology and Public Policy.” During his presentation, Mr. Lacktman gave a pre- and post-COVID snapshot of telemedicine and its implementation within the health care industry, as well as addressing some of the regulation policy issues related to reimbursement and scope of care, cross-border licensing and liability issues, accountability of telehealth integrated models, among other issues.
