Foley Partner and co-chair of the firm’s Automotive Industry Team Steven Hilfinger was quoted in an article titled “M&A deals dry up: Fear of the unknown, lack of financing bench many players” in the January 25, 2009 issue of Crain’s Detroit Business. Hilfinger provides his insight into the declining number of mergers and acquisitions in the Detroit metro area, adding that as bank financing remains tight, there will be an increase in seller financing and deferred payments.
