Bailey Quoted in on Build America Bonds

Foley Partner Michael Bailey was quoted in Reuters on March 24, 2009 in an article titled “Muni issuers test bond provisions in U.S. stimulus.” Bailey provides insight into Stevens Point, Wisconsin’s use of Build America Bonds to bid out debt for equipment purchases and infrastructure repairs, adding that using the federally subsidized Build America Bonds worked in this case even as municipal market participants have questioned how many of the bond provisions in the act will work.
