Bailey Quoted on Build America Bonds

Foley Partner Michael Bailey was interviewed for an article that appeared on The Am Law Daily on April 15, 2009 titled “Blogging Bonds: Lawyer Explains Build America Bond Plan.” Bailey discusses Build America Bonds (BABs), a federal government initiative to reimburse 35 percent of the interest on the repayment of loans to state and local municipalities hurt by the recession. Bailey notes that BAB legislation opens up how big the market can get for taxable state and local municipal bonds.
