Overly Quoted on Digital Document Retention

Foley Partner Michael Overly was quoted in an article titled “Moving To A Digitized Workplace” in the October 23, 2009 issue of Processor. Overly discusses the development of a document retention strategy when transferring from a paper-based retention system to a digital one. He notes that there is an enormous range of laws and regulations affecting individual companies, adding that although there are general retention guidelines for different document types, there is no “one-size-fits-all” template.
