Foley Of Counsel Mark Neuberger was quoted in an article that appeared on Employment Law360 on November 18, 2009 titled “Despite Backlash, Florida To Remain FLSA Hotbed.” Neuberger discusses soaring Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) litigation in Florida, remarking that Florida’s small and midsize businesses are creating a relatively unsophisticated employer community. He adds that Congress revisited overtime regulations in 2004, and with a pro-labor administration in the White House, the likelihood of another FLSA overhaul is slim.
