September 12, 2010
Milwaukee Journal Sentinel
Foley Partners Mary K. Braza and Kevin Schulz were quoted in an article that appeared in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel on September 12, 2010 titled, “Rangers legal battle goes extra innings.” Braza and Schulz discuss Foley’s representation of an investment group that purchased the Texas Rangers, stating that the previous owner’s complex debt structure resulted in the sale shifting from a simple bidding process to a complex bankruptcy transaction. They add that Foley’s experience in multifaceted sports transactions, including the sale of the Chicago Cubs and Milwaukee Brewers, helped the investment group in its purchase of the Texas Rangers.
