Foley Partner Lisa Noller appeared on The Corporate Counsel’s “Inside Track with Broc” podcast on July 20, 2011. Noller discusses strategies for lawyers to consider when setting up a meeting with the government to discuss prosecution or civil suit decisions made against their clients, stating that self-claim provisions such as those included in the health care reform bill make such meetings relatively easy to set up. She adds that attorneys should always follow up with the government after these meetings in order to ask for an opportunity to be heard before a final charging decision against their client is made.
