Foley Of Counsel Gregory Husisian was quoted in an article that appeared in Business Insurance on October 16, 2011 titled “Proactive FCPA compliance program essential.” Husisian discusses the necessity for companies to institute in-house compliance programs to prevent Foreign Corrupt Practices Act violations. He states that smaller and mid-sized companies should recognize that compliance is a cost of doing business, adding that the U.S. government closely scrutinizes business conducted abroad and expects companies contemplating business overseas to set aside portions of their budgets for compliance.
