Foley Partner Christopher Knight was quoted in an article that appeared in The Bond Buyer on October 17, 2011 titled “Smaller Law Firms Move Up.” Knight discusses Foley’s ranking in The Bond Buyer‘s listing of top municipal bond counsel. Foley jumped forward more than 20 spots from its placement in last year’s ranking, and was recognized by the publication as one of three firms that increased the dollar amount of bond deals worked on despite lower issuance. Knight attributes the firm’s enhanced rankings to strategies aimed at areas including housing and health care as well as large state-level financings in Wisconsin, Massachusetts and Puerto Rico.
