InfoWorld Speaks to Partner Peter Vogel About Legal Issues Surrounding BYOD

InfoWorld reached out to Gardere Partner Peter S. Vogel, chair of the Firm's Internet, eCommerce and Technology Industry Team, in search of some clarification on the issues surrounding BYOD, or bring your own device.
Mr. Vogel remarked the 2010 Supreme Court ruling giving employers rights to view all communications on corporate-issued devices essentially "sidelined the Stored Communications Act," and it is possible the justices did not consider the impact "in a BYOD context."
