Gardere Represents BP in Sale of Jonah Gas Properties in Wyoming to LINN Energy
Gardere Wynne Sewell LLP represented BP America Production Company (NYSE:BP) in its $1.03 billion sale of its interests in Jonah and Pinedale upstream operations in Southwestern Wyoming to LINN Energy, LLC (Nasdaq:LINE). Included in the sale are BP's operations center in Sublette County, Wyoming, and all of its working interest in a substantial number of operated and non-operated wells that are producing natural gas, natural gas liquids and oil. Completion of the sale remains subject to customary regulatory approvals and conditions. The acquisition is expected to close in July 2012.
