Valiente Interviewed on Business Opportunities in Cuba

Senior Counsel Lauren Valiente was interviewed in Tampa’s WFLA News Channel 8 story, “New Trade Opportunities with Cuba Still Have Legal Hurdles to Overcome,” on May 20, 2015. The segment discussed Valiente’s recent trip to Cuba and the business opportunities between the United States and Cuba. Valiente said that before entering into business with Cuba, business owners must be aware of the law in both countries. She was quoted saying, “The first question is; am I legally allowed to do what I want to do under both U.S. law and Cuban law.”
