The article discussed the new laws and rules surrounding telemedicine technology that are creating new opportunities and challenges. Lacktman provided insights on reimbursement and was quoted saying, “Viewing the healthcare industry in terms of ‘reimbursement’ often means fee-for-service payments from government programs. That renders ‘reimbursement’ narrow and limited when compared to the ‘revenue’ and ‘payment’ opportunities available.”
