Foley represented Combate Americas, the first U.S. Hispanic Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) sports franchise, in its agreement with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) to air events on UFC Fight Pass, UFC’s over-the-top (OTT) digital streaming service.
The MMA promotion targets Hispanic audiences and made its English-language debut on UFC Fight Pass on April 18, 2016, as part the “Road to the Championship” series. Combate Americas founder Campbell McLaren also helped launch UFC in 1993.
