Gardere has been recognized on the State Bar of Texas Blog for its achievement in law firm diversity by earning an “A” grade on the annual law firm diversity report card. Gardere litigation attorney Frederick W. Sultan, pictured in the post, is a past chair of the State Bar of Texas LGBT section.
According to the blog post, “The Law Firm Diversity Report Card grades the city’s law firms on their hiring, promotion and retention of attorneys of diverse races, genders and sexual orientations. The report card, which began in 2011, is a collaboration among the Hispanic Bar Association of Austin, the Austin Back Lawyers Association, the Austin Asian American Bar Association, the South Asian Bar Association of Austin, the Austin LGBT Bar Association and the Travis County Women Lawyers Association.”
