Oak Cliff Chamber of Commerce Honors Gardere for Its Work in the Community
The Oak Cliff Chamber of Commerce honored Gardere with the 2017 Business of the Year award at its annual “Spotlighting the Cliff” reception Jan. 18. Each year, the prestigious award is given to a business that offers high-quality products or services, demonstrates strong ethical standards, exhibits leadership with its employees, clients and within its industry, and is active in the community.
Accepting the award on behalf of the firm, partner Steve Camp spoke about the Gardere MLK Jr. Oratory Competition at Adamson High School and highlighted the national attention that the event brings to the community. He also spoke about the vision of Angus Wynne, a son of one of the founders of Gardere Wynne Sewell LLP, in the development of the area’s Wynnewood Village which is located in North Oak Cliff.
More information on the award is available at the Oak Cliff Advocate, as well as at the chamber's website.
