Partner Cliff Risman discussed the uncertain effects of the Trump administration’s immigration policies on the hospitality industry in a Law360 article, “Hotel Labor Drying Up Under Trump, CEOs Say.” The industry’s increasing labor shortage is due in part to the Trump administration’s anti-travel policies and “extreme vetting” of visa applicants. Risman said the uncertainty around immigrant labor can make it difficult for hotel companies to plan new projects.
