Chmielewski Comments on Impact of Cures Act

Partner Monica Chmielewski was quoted in a Modern Healthcare article, “21st Century Cures Act driving FDA Changes,” about the effect that a landmark piece of legislation signed into law during the final month of the Obama administration is having on the FDA’s approval process.

With the passage of the act, Chmielewski said, the FDA was tasked with a somewhat onerous, but worthwhile set of responsibilities and projects. “The FDA continues to push forward to meet the requirements under the act and implement the necessary programs and changes,” she said.
