Partner Nate Lacktman was quoted in a CNBC article, “These telemedicine doctors are getting licenses in all 50 states to treat patients in most remote areas,” about physicians seeking licenses to treat patients in every state.
While the practice is still uncommon, said Lacktman, chair of the firm’s national Telemedicine & Digital Health Industry Team, we’re seeing more of it. “I can’t think of really any good reason why doctors would need so many licenses prior to telemedicine,” he said.
