Partner Scott Fredericksen was quoted in a Yahoo News article, “Prosecutor: Prince Andrew ‘has provided zero cooperation’ in Epstein investigation,” about U.S. Attorney Geoffrey Berman’s criticism of Britain’s Prince Andrew for failing to cooperate in the sex trafficking investigation of Jeffrey Epstein.
Fredericksen, a former federal prosecutor and independent counsel, said Berman’s decision to publicly chastise Andrew is a strong indication that authorities do not have enough evidence to charge the prince. “They could request a procedure at which he is questioned by the British authorities,” he said. “I think that’s unlikely to happen. If that were going to happen, I don’t think they would have gone public.”
