Of Counsel Mark Neuberger was quoted in a SHRM article, “Protect the Privacy of Employees with Coronavirus,” about the need to keep confidential the health condition of employees with coronavirus.
Neuberger said that when an employee tests positive for the coronavirus, the employer may have an obligation to tell co-workers about their colleague’s condition. “Work with local public health officials to get guidance on how to do that,” he said.
