Partner Jason Kohout was quoted in a Business Insider article, “Rich people are freaking out about estate-tax changes that could cost them millions, and their lawyers can’t hire enough people to keep up,” about how busy trust and estate lawyers have been since the start of the pandemic.
Kohout said that monthly production work has increased by 20-25 percent since the end of last year. “We’ve been taking the case for a week now, with old clients reappearing,” he said.
